Paging Servicespagertrans.JPG

Paging services allows for patrons to get immediate attention from gaming floor staff.

Pagers are sent from the patron pressing a button on the Gemini/Vector Unit or are automatically generated from machine events. For example if the collect button is pressed an attendant will receive a page with the details

#35 Handpay $67.00 or #67 Hopper Jammed.

Supporting other MAX loyalty products, the system will also alert you if the kiosk or barrel draw printer has run out of paper.

Paging allows your floor staff to be more responsive to the gaming floor. With flexible zones, events, messages and automatic escalation of missed messages the Cougar Paging system can be tailored to suit your venue.

Pagers are supplied and serviced by Pagetel Communications.

MaxBonus is a non-loyalty promotional tool that is run from the Floor View function in Wildcat.

Any machine in play can win the MaxBonus prize - no loyalty card is required to be inserted (but the machine must be played during the promotion to take part in the promotion).

The ticket will print to the printer that is connected to the Management PC where the application is running (usually the Cashier printer).

The prize to be allocated for each ticket generation e.g. Cup of coffee, 5 loyalty points, Free Bistro Meal to value of $6.95 is created by the site. This description will print on the ticket.

Each MaxBonus ticket is given a unique number and ticket generation is logged to the Cougar database.

MaxBonus supports both QCOM and DUCMS EGMs.

MaxBonus promotions may be enabled by floor, bank or position.

The criteria to trigger a ticket print includes :

  • Wins
  • A number of tickets over a given time period
  • A ticket will print every X minutes
  • Operator initiated draw (ad hoc)

EZY BREAK

MAX’s EZY Break facility utilises existing Player Loyalty hardware toallow players to securely leave credits on a gaming machine while they take a break.

Players will be able to ‘suspend’ a machine by pressing the ‘EZY Break’ button on the Gemini or Vector unit while a player card is inserted in the machine (providing the machine still has credits). At this stage the machine will disable and display ‘EGM Suspended – EZY Break’ on the Loyalty Unit.

When the button is pressed a timer will be started to allow the player 3 minutes to return to the machine. On return the player will insert their card back into the Gemini or Vector Unit and the machine will resume play.

In the case where a different player card is inserted, this will be ignored and the EGM will stay in play suspend mode.

When the defined period (3 minute default) has elapsed and the machine is still locked up, a page can be sent to an Attendant stating the position and description of ‘EZY Break timeout’. When an attendant inserts an attendant card, a cancel credit ticket will be generated with the player’s details (or in the case of a MyCash user, the value will be returned to the patron's account balance). The credits on the machine are cleared and the EGM will be unsuspended ready for play. The player may then collect their removed credits from the cashier station.

The length of time an EGM lockup can be reserved will be configurable on a site per site basis and default to 3 minutes; 3 minutes will also be the maximum, in accordance with regulatory requirements.

This is seen as a valuable tool for sites to help players take a break from machines.

The following are benefits such a product would deliver:

·   Replaces existing and unsecured method of breaks in play eg. Large board placed over screen.

·    Implements key responsible gaming initiatives by promoting breaks in play.
